It is important that you seek a well trained, insured, professional practitioner that is registered with the AoR ( Association of Reflexologists).

What to do after Treatment?
What Should I expect Afterwards?
Each client is an individual and will experience their Reflexology session in a different way. Your practitioner will discuss aftercare with you.
Most clients report feeling deeply relaxed and an improved sense of wellbeing afterwards.
However from time to time, as the body continues to heal itself you may have a response to treatment where the body takes a little bit longer to come back to a state of balance, this is known as a healing reaction and the following symptoms are common.
Symptoms should last no longer than 12-48 hours and some will clear up after a few hours as the body begins to rebalance itself.
The practitioner will ask you on your next visit about any responses you have had, but if you are concerned about your symptoms or they get worse please contact your GP as there may be another reason that you are feeling like this.
